The River View RV Park was established in 2012 to give visitors of Fort Pierre, SD the opportunity to stay at a modern campground while seeing what South Dakota has to offer. From traditional tent sites to RV camper sites, we have everything that our visitors would ever want.

River View RV Park is open March 1st thru December 1st. We have 52 camper sites with 30, 50, and 100 amp electrical hook ups and 23 tent spots. We also have a 30 x 40 shower house building with quarter operated showers andlaundry.
The rest of our RV park includes our office building, handicap accessible men’s and women’s bath house, family room, coin-operated washers and dryers, and vending machines.
The Casey Tibbs Museum is within a couple minutes of our RV Park. Tour our State Capitol Building, Governor’s mansion, and South Dakota National Guard museum in Pierre.

Our RV park overlooks Pierre, Fort Pierre, SD and the Missouri Valley Basin and has a beautiful view for miles. Our campground has full service RV hook ups, so you’ll be able to enjoy a high level of relaxation that South Dakota offers all visitors. In addition to keeping your vehicle powered, our campground provides all campers with an amazing view of the mountains. The Missouri River is also not far away and Lake Oahe is a short drive. There’s no doubt we can help provide you with the ultimate outdoor experience.
